how much sleep does your LO get within a 24 hr period?

i try to encourage my LO to get 15 hours of sleep a day. on weekends this usually works out, but during the week when she's at daycare it's hit or miss depending on how well she naps. so although her usual "range" is 12-16 hrs/day, it usually works out closer to 14 hours. she gets 3, sometimes 4 naps a day depending on how long they are.

how much sleep does your LO average in a 24 hr period? how many naps?

    Maybe 13 or 14 hours.

    DS gets about 14hours 15 minutes (ish).  He takes 3 - 30-45 minute naps (sometimes we'll get an hour and a half one in there, but rarely) and then between 11 and 12 hours at night.  Although at night, I'm not sure how much of it he's actually sleeping... he has a tendency to wake up and just talk to himself for a bit.

    Averages about 14-15 hours. Roughly 10 or 11 hours or so at night and usually 2 2hr naps during the day. If he sleeps longer at night he takes a little bit shorter naps.

    DS sleeps about 16 hours a day.  He sleeps 13 hours at night and takes 3-4 naps during the day.

    Average is 15 hours with one nap (12 hours at night, 3 hour nap).  I was told normal for this age is 14-16 so she's right on target.

    DS sleeps 10-12 hours at night and takes anywhere from 2-4 30-45 min naps....so in one day maybe 12-14 hours?

    12 hours ovenight..

    3 1 hr naps a day

    totalling 15 hours.

    My little one loves her sleep (like I used to).  She averages about 13 hours at night and takes 2 roughly 2 hr. naps during the day for a total of 17 sometimes 18 hours a day.
