  I had issues with me 1st child after going on BC with my milk supply tanking.  It also messed up with my cycles etc, had a bad exprience and will not go on BC again until after I am none nursing.  I think it sent my hormones in a tail spin .

  My doctor put me on the mini pill so as not to affect my milk supply.

  I decided to take the minipill for this reason. My OB told me that the regular pill wouldn't cause a decrease in supply, but everything else I read said it would.  I had no issues with the minipill and started the regular pill when DS turned 1.
