TOTALLY not SPR: I need fashion advice

I have a date with the hottie on Saturday night.  We're going to a concert.  Its supposed to be cold.  We've 86ed the costume ideas.  Here's what I was thinking about wearing. 

 I have a halter style top that's multicolored (yellow, pink, green, white, purple) and its got lots of ruffles at the neck.  I tried to PIP but I can't.  Here's a direct link to a photo of the same shirt in a different color.

Anyway.  Wear the top with black dress shorts and a denim jacket and flat sandals.

 Its either the shorts and jacket/top combo or skinny jeans and top/no jacket combo.  What do y'all think?

    No to the dress shorts. It's Fall, y'all.

    Wear the top with skinny jeans and pick up a cardigan. No jean jacket, unless you'd like a Canadian tuxedo.

    Ha...I live in Louisiana.  Its hella hot all the time.  lol

    I've got a few black cardigans.  They're just not long and the top is.  Idk.  Maybe I'll just go with something completely different.

    Yeah its like almost 80 outside today here, lol. A cropped cardigan would look cute.

    How cold is it supposed to be? 

    I can't view the top because the site is blocked.  I saw a cute idea if you want to wear the shorts.  It was tights and a cute pair of boots with maybe the top and larger cardigan or sweater over the top.

    I am assuming the concert is outside so maybe another thought is the skinny jeans with a cute pair of wedge boots or flat boots and a flowy tunic type top.

    The lows are in the 40s but highs are mid 70s so maybe by 8pm Saturday night, it'll be 60.  I'm a hot natured girl though.  And the show is inside.

     Maybe I'll let bf's sister decide.  lol

    lol if it was 60's I'd certainly be wearing the shorts! 

    I'd say if you really don't want to wear the shorts, then do the skinny jeans with tall boots over the top and no sweater
