For me - my little brother is home from Afghanistan so everyone was at my parents for a welcome home party on Saturday. It was amazing to see my brother and all my family that I don't see often!
First off, that's fantastic your brother is home safely and that you were able to spend time with him and the rest of your family! A big thank you to him for serving our country!!
Now to answer your question...
I loved that I was able to get a lot of work done this weekend (went in for a bit Saturday) and also loved playing Phase 10 with my husband and parents this weekend.
I agree with pp - so glad for you and your fam that your brother's home. A huge thank-you to him and all others serving, today and every day.
To answer your question - we were in Canada this weekend, and we were fishing...so there was a lot that was great about the weekend. DH and I both caught big fish - even though two of his were bigger than mine (28 and 31 inches for him)! We also had fish fries two nights, and a lot of time with his parents and brother. Then I came home and did some shopping to prepare for another upcoming trip, and I got to talk to an old friend and her 13-year-old daughter who I've known since before she was born. All-in-all just a fantastic weekend!

Well... I got married! So that was an awesome way to spend my weekend, in Disneyland!
best things about my weekend: DH and I got new computers today, and now I have my own!! and having a waterballoon fight with DH and our neighbors and the neighborhood kids.

Mine was good because I got to spend the entire long weekend (4 days) with my husband. We were packing, which we both hate, but we always have fun when we are together, even doing the most mundane of tasks.
So glad to hear that your brother is home safe and sound!!
We were at the lake for the long weekend with my brother, his gf, my cousin and another friend. We spent a lot of time enjoying the water, the weather and some good drinks

Best part of the weekend was hanging out with our dogs lol. We took them swimming every day and for hikes (we were at my parents house in the mountains) and it was so nice for them to be able to have lots of exercise and outdoor time!

Yay for your brother returning home Shaq! Like PP said, a huge thanks to all of our military for keeping us safe!
The best part of weekend was probably swimming in the pool, not anything special but just fun and relaxing.

We spend a lot of time with friends this weekend, which was fun. I think the best part was seeing the Hangover 2. It was hilarious!
