My period was so light and wacky because I have a huge cyst. Actually, I have about 8 of them, but one of them was like waving hello at us as soon as she got the probe in. It was 46x60mm. So double the size my ovary is supposed to be. She said that's why I had such a wacky cycle after follistim.

So, BCP for a month (I hope that's all I need to get rid of them, but I'm not hopeful). Then new protocol....Letrozole for 5 days and then 2 days of 75IU FSH and then we check. He wants to make sure we don't overstim this time.

The only thing that keeps going through my mind is next cycle, I would be testing right at Christmas, and since I've had so much luck with Christmas and babies, this can't end well (I lost my 1st 2 days before Christmas and I was due on New Years with my ectopic).

I cried all the way to work. Infertility sucks in so many ways

I hope that after this round of BCP you'll be good to go. In the mean time... I say a pitcher or 3 of margaritas is in order.

I have 6 gallons of wine sitting on my kitchen table to be bottled Friday, so I think I'm going to take full advantage. Strawberry Merlot....here I come!
