Thanks for that violent finger banging

Seriously. Not my regular OB doing my internal day. That was a sucky thing to go through to learn I've made no progress since last Monday. I thought surely all this punching or head bouncing on my cervix would have done something.

And oh "you may have some spotting"= immediate bleeding. The first I've seen since February and it was enough to stop my heart a second. Uncool.

    You better enjoy it while it lasts. You won`t want any kind of finger banging or related banging for a looooooong time after that baby gets here sister. 

    And holy guacamole! That baby IS almost here! You are so pregnant!!! That makes me so happy : )

    Ugh I'm sorry hon. I hate when some other doc does the internals. I would tell them they owe you dinner or something after all of that.

    Yikes. That sounds all around unpleasant.

     

    My ob won't even do an internal until 38 weeks.

    that sounds uncomfortable. When I was on pelvic rest at the beginning a different dr swabbed to check for any bleeding. I said dang, that's the most action I've had in a few weeks. MH's face turned bright red. The dr just laughed.

    Yeah I think DH is relieved I've finally stopped talking about sex-except that he doesn't realize how long its going to be in the end here.

    And it was a female OB! I thought surely they would be gentle. Not so much.

    At least they didn't slip into a different hole!  I remember with Patrick a resident who kept getting mighty close to going in the wrong hole at times...just like in the movie Knocked Up!
