In a Social Mood... GTKY Post

I'm in a social mood this morning - and with all the comings and goings on this board I am starting to feel a bit lost on what everyone's TTC stories are! So... does anyone feel like sharing?

I'll start...

My DH and I have been trying since the beginning of June. We are on cycle #4. My doctor diagnosed me with PCOS about a year ago, so we are not expecting this to happen quickly, but we're trying to stay positive (doesn't always happen, though).

DH and I have been TTC since April. We're nearing the end of cycle #5. I have pretty bad endo, so we'll see how that plays into things. Good luck everyone!

Started trying 09/22/2010. On cycle #2 now, but I feel good about cycle #3. Guess we will just have to wait and see. Good Luck!

DH and I are TTC #2 - we have a DD who is 4 years old. My heart sank when I logged onto FF today and saw "Cycle # 12".....trying to keep my hopes up but I'm starting to get a worried feeling in my gut. We have our first appointment with an RE next Wednesday. Hopefully we'll get lucky this cycle.

YES! Something to distract me from the crap ton of work I have to do today.

DH and I started trying in June. The first cycle I didn't chart but I started that in July. So now we're on cycle #5. I've been hypothyroid since age 15 and on the same dosage of synthroid for at least 5 years (175mcg). I just found out last week that my TSH was 5.79 so they upped my dosage to 200mcg. So hopefully with that med change we'll have some success fairly soon. Also, my ovaries decided to psych me out this cycle and not O at my "usual" time, so that's been fun. Indifferent So here I am, just hanging out, waiting for O time.

I'm at the end of cycle 5 waiting for AF or a BFP. If AF shows then DH and I will TTA for 2 cycles.

DH and I started TTC on 10/2/2010. We are currently in cycle #2. We were hoping we would get "lucky" the first time around, but I guess who doesn't. We are almost to O in the second cycle and I am feeling pretty good about things. GL to everyone!

Great post

DH and I have been ttc since September so this is only cycle #2 for us. I had some issues back in August so the dr sent me for bloodwork and an ultrasound but thankfully everything checked out fine. I'm hoping ttc will go quickly for us but I know it can take up to a year for things to happen for a normal couple. I am not a patient person so I will have to keep myself busy during ttc. I'm glad I found this board, it is a great source of knowledge and support.

Rapidly nearing the end of Cycle #6 with charting

starting to get a little scared/depressed, because I have beautiful charts and no bfp's. ..

but, i keep telling myself 20%, 20%.... etc.

TTC #2. I just started my 2WW on cycle 2. With DS we got KU on cycle 1 which was crazy.. Not what I was expecting.

I'm on cycle #2, and have been off BCP since the very end of July. We are TTC #1, have been married for a little over 3 years, hoping for some good news to pop to the fam at Thanksgiving or Christmas!

Went off BC in August and immediately started trying. OPKs only cycle #1, BFN. Cycle #2 charted, good timing, BFN. Cycle #3 I'm counting on lasting me until like December since MH Is out of town on all possible days of getting KU. (Cycle #3, version 2?) I'll be here a while!

Hi, I am in the 2ww of Cycle #15 TTC #2, I got a BFP on Cycle #11, but m/c. We will start testing in January with my OB (need an OB diagnosis before insurance will cover anything at the RE). Still keeping hope alive that we won't have to make it to January! We've 3 1/2 years and have a 2 year old dd.

Hi, my name is DCRider, and I am a TTC-aholic.

I have been off BC since last Sept - Oct-ish, and DH and I have been trying since April 2010. I have longish to long cycles and do not always ovulate. We are on Cycle 3 currently in the 2ww. My doctor said that if I do not start ovulating regularly, that she will start aggressive testing in November, to make sure nothing is preventing my body from working like its supposed to.

I know these things take time, and I knew that going in, but we hoped if would be sooner, much like everyone else here.

Me and the DH have being TTC since 9/27/2010 so we are in cycle #2. I just got of the BC last month so I know the journey will be hard but hopefully soon the day will arrive for me and for all the other ladies here.

But right now its just us and our 3 cats and 1huge dog.

DH and I have been TTC since January. In the middle of cycle 10. I wasn't aware of the huge advantage of temping/OPK's until mid-cycle 9, unfortunately. Here's hoping that makes the difference this cycle.

DH and I started TTC when we got married in October of 2009. We were TTA this past cycle, but now we are on CD3 of Cycle 12. I am a little worried about starting testing, but I know I NEED to go ahead and get things going. Here's to cycle 12!

I have only bee charting for 5 cycles I believe, but we were still active for the previous months. I wish I had started charting way before that though!

Also, this cycle will put me testing ON my birthday, soooooo hopefully I will get a HUGE surprise on November 30th!

We have been TTC #1 since July, and are nearing the end of our 3rd cycle. I have a history of anovulation, but 1 out of 2 working tubes isn't bad

We know it may take some time, but we will be over the moon when it finally happens!

DH and I have been trying to conceive #1 since July 2010. I had a missed miscarriage in April from an oops pregnancy - but that was what ultimately made us decide we WERE actually ready to have kids.

I have been charting for the last 2 cycles, so basically there was only one cycle of a BFN before I decided to read and learn more about the TTC process.

DH and I have been TTC since March of 2010. In May we found out that he has very low Testosterone levels and then later found out that he has very low sperm count. He's on some drugs to help the testosterone issue and it looks like we'll have IVF early next year.

DH and I are TTC #1. We started trying December '09. I have slightly longerish cycles so I am on cycle #8. I did not start charting or using OPK's until cycle #6. I got BFP cycle #7 that resulted in a C/P.

On to cycle #2 (As of yesterday...woohoo!) ttc #2. We have a DD that's close to 4 months- we'd really like our LOs to be close in age. I've never charted before last cycle but have found it extremely helpful!

We have been trying since July but this is my second full cycle charting. I have no known health issues and neither does DH but our timing has been crappy because of DH's work travel...at least that is what I am telling myself.

I have been off of BCP for over a year, started ?officially? TTC in August. This is currently my 2 cycle charting, and I have this constant anxious feeling about how excited I am to be a Mom. This would be my parents 1^st Grandkid, and they have no idea we are TTC?ing. We have told everyone that we are waiting until late next year? so it will be a complete surprise. Let?s hope it happens before that!

Dh and I have been together 11 years - married for 3. We have a daughter that was conceived on the first cycle much to our delight. When we started trying for #2 I was definately expecting immediate results even though I knew in my head it would probably not be that easy. We are currently on cycle 4 waiting to ovulate. This is my first cycle charting and using opks.

DH and I have been not TTA since January and actively TTGP since April this year. We got a postive in September and lost our LO earlier this month. We're waiting for the go-ahead from our doc to start again. We desperately want to add to our family... I have a DS from a past relationship (8 years past!) and DH has no children "of his own". We're going to be undergoing some endo testing next month (most likely).

Hi there! We are TTC #2. I have a 2.5 year old DD. DH and I were extremely fortunate to conceive her on the second month trying. This time around has been a little more frustrating. I've had two early m/c this time and it looks like cycle #5 will be starting any second now.
