Decals on textured walls?

Has anyone used a wall decal on a textured wall? I never considered it before because I didnt think it would work. Now I am wondering if it will work, it will just look a bit bumpy if you look at it closely.

    We have lightly textured walls and I have decals placed in several rooms; they look fine.  It's actually a little easier to apply them because air bubbles are less noticeable than on a smooth wall.

    It depends on how heavy the texture is.... if its a light/smoother texture it will work fine, you just have to rub a little better to get them to stick. Heavier textures will hold the vinyl, but it will not look "pretty".

    We have lightly textured walls and the nursery decals look great.  We haven't had any problems with them not sticking.
