I am still battling morning sickess (i.e. all day sickness). I think I want cereal for dinner. Which one will have the least effect on my nausea? I am thinking a sugary cereal is a bad idea.
I've been eating bran flakes or cheerios with some sugar in the mornings. I have Lucky Charms in the cupboard, but I can't stomach that right now. I don't know what the difference is, if I can add the sugar, you'd think I could eat sugary cereal.

I have also been battling m/s. Has your dr. giving you any anti-nasuea meds? They made a world of diffrence for me. Now I only have m/s if I don't eat on a routine schedule or if I let myself get overly tired.
I have found that at night I can sometimes stomach a bowl of a bland cereal with frosted flakes on top. I don't think I could eat a whole bowl of frosted flakes yet, but a few (1/4 cup) make the cereal more exciting and for me easier to eat when I am feeling ill.
Best thing you can do is give it a try. If it doesn't work out for you then you know not to eat them next time.
I find that the sugary cereal actually calms my stomach more. I have been eating dry froot loops or kix. I have developed a milk adversion otherwise I would eat a ton of cereal. If you want to avoid sugary cereal, I would just get whatever seems best to you (and you like). My doctor said to just look at things and say, "How will this help my baby?" (I tend to pair my cereal with a piece of fruit especially bananas lately!)
One day I was so excited to eat turkey burgers and right when I put the cheese on top I thought I was going to yack! I ate 2 blueberry pankcakes... I didn't have any protein because I could only get the pancakes and ginger ale down! I suffered ALL the next day, because I didn't get enough nurishment.
I suggest eating some nuts or peanut butter, or something to sustain you, in fear it could result in the situation I had!

Good luck
Sorry, I meant eating nuts or peanut butter in addition to your delightful cereal! Enjoy!
I love Kashi Cereals, my favorite is the Go Lean Crisp, triple berry medley. The protein and fiber are great added benefits in addition to the fact is tastes like fruity pebbles to me, without all that added sugar.

Special K (plain) seemed to be the only thing that was somewhat "yummy" to me during my worst m/s.
I had tried Life cereal, but it was too sugary for my taste.
