One month....what exactly constitutes a month?

Question-- and for my benefit I am sleep deprived --- LO was born October 1st.  Is this Friday her 1 month (28 days) or is the 31st her one month (30 days)?  Or does it even matter?

I wanted to get some 1 month pics taken.....and it got me thinking.
