Who here believes in ghosts??
Do you have any stories that make you feel the way you do on this topic?
I'll give you my answers:
Yes, I do.
When I first moved into my DH's house (the one we're in now) I used to get a creepy feeling. I chalked it up to "new house, new nerves, new noises." One day I'm sitting on the couch in the living room and I hear a little kid laughing. I went upstairs to the source of the laughter to ask my step son what was so funny, and remembered "hey, Haidyn is at his mom's today"... creepy!!
Also, about 10 times now I've gone to turn on various lights in our home and they don't come on. After realizing this, I've gone to change the bulbs and realized that the bulbs aren't burnt out or broken, but have been slightly unscrewed. It freaks me out! I asked DH if he was behind it and he said "no I was going to ask you the same!"

lol, smart@ss... Are you looking in your wallet? because those are just pictures of dead presidents.
my Dad lives there... it is pretty creepy when you think about the massive amount of lives lost there. Also, the ghost tours are pretty cool.
I believe in ghosts, I had an experience at one of my dad's old houses that we moved away from. First of all let me preface this story by saying the old woman we bought it from was very reserved, and said to us that her husband left her and that she was moving to get a new start. Well she neglected to tell us that she had a son who stayed in one of the attics that was made into a bedroom and that he had gone insane and no one knew why. (creepy enough on its own. This was also my room.) Well.. As soon as we moved into the house we started noticing weird things, a large mound in the backyard that she had planted a garden over, and cabinet doors being opened for no reason. I had a dream one night that I was back in time watching an event happen in our house. A man was choking a woman in a pink robe and she fought him off and shot her husband, the bullet went through him and shot her young son standing behind him. He had a twin brother who saw this and freaked out and started to go insane. (sound familiar??) So I started asking our neighbors about the husband leaving and they all said one day he was just gone with her OTHER son, and that their things were just out on the curb!!!
So one night my whole family was out in our hot tub, my little brother ran inside to pee and I realized I had to go too. So I followed him to the bathroom. The door was locked, light was on and he was singing washing his hands. I yelled "Nick hurry up I gotta go!" and then groaned and headed to the other bathroom. But as I got there, Nick walked out... there was no one else in the house! I ran to the other bathroom and the door was open and light was off....creepy!!!
wow...that is creepy!
Once my mom and my aunt were driving home at night from a movie and they were just laughing and talking and having a good time, when all of a sudden this man in old tattered clothes just walked out into the street. My mom slammed on her brakes and so did the car coming from the opposite direction. Suddenly the man just vanished. My mom said that she would have just dismissed it if she were by herself but she looked over at my aunt and her jaw was dropped. Slowly she and the other car started driving again. The next day she went back there and found out that there is a funeral home right on the street there.
This might make my mom sound like a crazy, liar lol. But she is very logical and not a liar at all. This is why it creeps me out so much...I trust her 100% that she is telling the truth. My mom and my aunt will swear by this til the day they die and now they both completely believe in ghosts! I have to admit that sometimes I am a skeptic, but to hear her tell this story really creeps me out.

weezieee - that is creepy!
a friend of mine had something similar happen. we live in the coal region in PA and there are a lot of old mines around. One night she was driving by one and saw a guy dressed in period appropriate clothing walking the side of the road... she didn't think much of it b/c its an historic town and it isn't weird to see people dressed like that.
well, when she drove past him and he disappeared she was a little freaked out!
