Sexy 3rd tri?

So I have been feeling completely adverse to sex this whole pregnancy but have tried to make something happen once a week for DH's sake...and have grit my teeth through it. We had been looking forward to the hormone surge or whatever causes the 2nd trimester desire for sex, but it never arrived. So now (TMI, sorry) I suddenly want to A LOT and we even did two days in a row which I don't remember the last time that happened. Either way I'm just going to enjoy this however long it lasts (please last!) but anyone else notice this or am I a big weirdy?

Not really...I've wanted it but honestly the reality of it is NOT fun, so I've been making a once-a-week effort too, especially since I know we'll be down to nothing soon. The only good thing is that we've recently FINALLY discovered a way to make it more comfortable, if not all-out enjoyable. Have fun!!!

We tried it a couple times in 2nd tri but it was miserable for me. It's still really uncomfortable but now we are both sucking it up and getting it done, but it's all business. If that's what it takes to get her out, we will both do what we gotta do. Even though it's not working.

If you're into it, get it while the gettin's good!!!

You might get checked for bacterial vaginosis. Sex was very painful for me, but I didn't have any other symptoms of an infection. I fell one day at work, and that weekend, I thought I might be leaking fluid- it was just little drops here and there, though. It turned out it wasn't amniotic fluid. It was discharge from the infection.

I took antibiotics for I think 7-10 days (I don't remember which), and sex has been MUCH more enjoyable.

Enjoy it while you can. We tried yesterday and it hurt soooooo bad. Like he couldn't even get it in all the way without me screaming (yes, I screamed and almost cried). I have no idea why it hurt so bad either. We obviously didn't continue trying to get it in.

I have had nothing but an increase in libido sine the 2nd tri! DH thinks I'm part rabbit, but I don't hear any complaints from him! Enjoy it while it lasts.
