Per this thread, we're hoping to condense a lot of the "gawker" threads into one! We thought this would make them more fun to browse and the board an easier read. We'll start a new thread every morning to keep the list fresh.

Anyone is welcome to add to the post--local hospital names, the awful name you over heard at the park, Facebook horrors, and anything else that might give us a good chuckle! Feel free to comment, too!

I am not sure if these are "horrors" or not but definitely NMS. Between two friends and my sister-in-law, I know three new babies this weekend.

SIL: Colton Lenox Kl***, little brother for Austin Lenox. Personally, I cannot make myself like Colton, I like very few of the trendy boys names that end in -n. I have also never seen giving both children the same middle name before.

Friend: Charlotte Anne (nn:Charlee), sister to Zoey Jane Pretty name, hate the nn and the spelling

Friend: Aiden James, brother to Lexi Isabel. Over it.

I recently friended an old high school friend and saw that her son is Zebulon. Kind of out there, but at least its a real name? I hope they call him Zeb.

I recently found a friend from college on FB. She's pregnant and the title of the album with the ultrasound photos in it is Caiden Noah. At least Caiden isn't Cayden. That's about all I can say though.

A few years ago I was at the maternity ward of a hospital visiting a family member and one of the names I saw was: Blada. I heard it said and it was pronounced like Blade-ah.
