Re: Im 16 weeks and tryin to figured out something very important
If you are 16 weeks, and you got a positive test in June then you most likely became pregnant at least 2 weeks prior to you taking the test in June whenever you where ovulating that month. I mean i guess it is possible you miscarried early and became pregnant on your next ovulation cycle but if the OB did a blood test then that is usually pretty accurate.
When you went for your OB visit did they do an ultrasound around the 8-10 week mark? By 16 weeks you would usually have had an initial ultrasound to confirm the pregnancy at around 8-10 weeks if you knew right away, by around 12 weeks the genetic screening ultrasound for down syndrome (unless you voiced you did not want this) and then another ultrasound scheduled for your 18-20 week anatomy scan.
Its possible to get pregnant again immediately after a miscarriage. Have you had an ultrasound yet? That's really the only way to know for sure how far along you are and then be able to figure out when you got pregnant. Good luck.

Actually, it's laugh out loud, but way to catch on.
1) See the little button near your left pinky finger that says "Caps Lock" on it? Push that. But only once. Thanks.
2) If you are only 16 weeks and you took a pregnancy test the end of June, you clearly lost that baby and then got pregnant again considering June 26th was around 17 weeks ago and you would have had to ovulate/conceive at least a couple weeks before that for the HPT to pick up on the hormones, making you actually at least 19-20 weeks or so now.
3) If you're so unsure of dates why didn't your doctor perform an ultrasound to see how far along you actually are? How do you even know you're 16 weeks and 2 days? If you are going by dates then that would have given you your LMP at around the 9th of July. That sounds like around the time you could have miscarried the previous baby.
You probably just got pregnant right away after miscarrying. It really doesn't matter when you conceived either and you're never going to know the exact moment of conception but if I had to guess it would be some time between July 5th when you started spotting and now.

Some people love Cocaine, too... It's a habit.
Doesn't make it ok.
You should ask da doctor.
Alright, I admit that was overkill, but I couldn't resist.

In the grand scheme of life? No.
But it will keep people from taking you seriously on here. Just something to keep in mind.
This is very true. Most people who fill a post with capital letters and poor grammar on their 1st EVER post in a forum tend to be trolls. You wouldn't be yanking our chains there, would you?

Absolutely not. Couldn't be. Nor could the other 4 that just starting posting tonight.
Oh bummer, now I've given away all of my trolling secrets for no reason. They're only going to take this advanced knowledge to improve their trollish ways!!! I've doomed us all.

so if the doctor is telling you that you are measuring perfectly...meaning you are 16 weeks, i don't understand what the issue is. you obviously got pregnant soon after you miscarried.

This is true. I'm admiring.
Does anybody still ask their doctor questions? If it's so important ask your Dr! It all seems pointless to ask anyway since you've been measured and had an u/s.
Just so you know OP, you can feel free to type as poorly and rudely (caps) as you wish. Just realize it comes across as "I'm an idiot" or "I don't care enough" and then why should anyone else care enough to give you a good response? Things like spell check are wonderful, I can't spell and it saves me...grammar it can't help you with but at least take the time to spell out the, will one extra stroke kill you?
If you were 16 weeks, 2 days as of yesterday (the 24th) then you are due the same day as I am. And I was told by the doctor that I probably conceived during the week of July 10th. There are online reverse-due date calculators that can give you a span of days during which you most likely conceived, if you know your due date and also the span of your cycle.
Maybe it's just the pregnancy brain, but simple backwards counting should tell you that you probably didn't conceive THIS child during the beginning of June if you are really only 16 weeks. (Not trying to be harsh. If you did lose a child, I'm sure suddenly realizing it via messageboard is difficult.) Since we're due on the same day, I'll add in this little bit of info; I was having abdominal cramps on June 15th and went to my ER and they ran both urine and blood test to see if pregnancy was a possible cause and I was told I was definately not pregnant then. So if you got a positive result in June and it was confirmed by your doctor through examination, then you might have lost the baby or they are measuring/dating your pregnancy inaccurately.
I would ask 'da doctor' if 'da baby' was conceived 2 weeks after 'da miscarriage' if you had one. How are any of us supposed to know what happened inside your body? What did they tell you in the ER? What did your OB say when you were there? Your OB should have given you an u/s to see how far along da baby was.
Are you being serious by expecting us to let you know????
I'm wondering why sometimes you say "the" and sometimes you say "da", in the same post.
You might as well just say "Duh...." because that's all I get from your posts.
Also... take the caps lock off.... TROLL.
