It's 80s day at work PIP

Since we're being laid off we've decided to have some fun with our last few weeks.  Today is throw back to the 80s day.  I'm on the right in the NKOTB shirt :-p

    How fun!  I wish my company did something ike that when they knew they were going under.  We had a big "party" one day.  Mid day the work day was over and people brought in food for everyone, and there was even alcohol, a "dj" (meaning someone who worked there who had some rustic dj equipment haha) and they brought out a disco ball.  It was rather surreal watching people drink and dance in the meeting room area.

    It was necessary - my old SN was too recognizable IRL.  When I first joined (The Knot), I had no idea I would be posting on public message boards.  Pocky was one of my favorite snacks growing up (still is).  Sucks to lose my silver status, though.  Oh well.

    Until the end of the year I'm an executive admin at a biotech company.  I'm not sure what industry I may end up after the lay off!

    Sorry you are  getting laid off , but at least your having fun now .  Are you on the North or South Shore , I can keep my eyes open for Admin jobs .
