A dear friend of mine just found out that she has a T-shape uterus. She also doesn't ovulate on her own so her OB/Gyn just referred her to a specialist but of course she has to wait awhile to get in.
Does anyone know much about this? Can she successfully carry? Anyone have success with it?
She lives in NYC but I'm not sure of which clinic she's going to.
TIA!
Re: Help for friend - T-shaped uterus?
So sorry about your friend. This is a serious problem caused by DES, but some are able to carry successfully. She should make sure she gets several opinions as I know from experience that uterine malformations are often mis-dx and mis-treated. GL to her.
