Funny things DH says

What are some ridiculous/funny things your DH has said throughout the pregnancy?

Mine:  This morning I was saying how I was getting nervous because I can feel her body with my hands and I feel like she is huge already.  I said "I don't know how she's getting out of there!"  DH's response: "The same way she got in."  I don't know why I found it so funny, but I did.

  • We can be anywhere, and out of no where H will yell "Nattie is coming!" I have never seen ANYONE so anxious.

  • He is so ready for her to be born. He will talk to me belly and just start saying "Here baby baby baby. You can come out now." It was so funny the first few times, but it isn't working so I think he can stop now.
  • When I was pregnant with DS1, DH used to talk to my belly in the Darth Vader voice and say "I am your father", we found it quite amusing :)

With DS2, I had been giving him weekly updates on how big the baby was (poppy seed, sesame seed, etc) and when we got to "blueberry week" He thought this was funny and he's been calling the baby his blueberry ever since lol

  • DH is constantly saying things that make me laugh. He told me the other day that I (without clothes on) look like Peter from Family Guy when he's naked. Nice.  He also asks me almost every other day, "So what are you thinking? When will she come?" Not sure hubs, she hasn't given me her schedule. He also refers to The Bump as The Blimp (as in, big as a blimp) and it always makes me laugh.
  • Apparently DH wants me to breastfeed as long as possible, not for the benefit of the baby, but for my boobs to get "porn-star big" like they did las time my milk came in. Gee thanks.

  • Hahahaha Mine says the same thing about breastfeeding.

Something funny he did was as soon as we had my first ultrasound (10 weeks) the next morning when I woke up for work, I took a shower, got out to plug my hair dryer in, and realized there was an outlet cover on the plug. I took it out, dried my hair, and left it out. As I walked through the rest of the house, I realized there were outlet covers on EVERY SINGLE PLUG.

This is our first baby, so I know he just wants to be cautions, but at that point I still had 30 weeks left haha. Not to mention, I don't think she's going to be able to climb up on our master bath counter anytime soon to get to the outlet. It was adorable, but got to be very annoying because every morning, that outlet cover was back in the outlet.
