Still co-sleeping, but we are transitioning to his bed right now. Our main reason is just because I think it would be nice to sleep just with my husband for a while.
DD mostly sleeps in her own room now. It seemed like once she got mobile she started having a harder and harder time sleeping next to us and would crawl around and fuss a lot (this started around 9 months). By her first birthday it became clear that she was sleeping better in her own space. It varies from day to day and I'm not opposed to bringing her back to bed with us if she wants/needs to, but I think we're mostly done with bedsharing.
I did start moving her to her crib (very gradually) around that 9 month mark because of all the moving around she does during her sleep. I was afraid she'd fall off the bed while I was sleeping. Ultimately, though, I'd say the transition didn't really happen until she was ready for it.
Our plan was to bedshare for at least 6 months, but DS slept so much better in his crib, that he moved out at about 2 weeks. I really wasn't ready for that.

DS bedshared with us part time for about 6 months, but when he wasn't in our bed, he was in a pack and play next to our bed. After about 6 months, my husband's late nights home from school and early mornings out of the house meant he and I had little time together, so we transitioned DS into his crib in his room. He would come into our room after the first waking and sleep in our bed. Now he sleeps in his room, and any waking before 3 I put him back to sleep in his crib, and any wakings after 3 he comes to bed with us.
We transitioned to a bed in his room around 15 months - I slept with him there part time for another month or so. He was starting to STTN some so it seemed like it was time.
We bedshared until DD was 13 months old and I found out I was pregnant w/#2. We had already started transitioning her to a floor bed in her room for naps when she turned one because we felt she was ready. We probably would have taken it slower had we not found out we were having another baby but honestly she transitioned to it very quick and painlessly.
WOW! I'm so impressed. I was hoping to make a goal of 4-5 months. It makes sense that they stay interested until they're really able to be up and moving on their own. They become so much more independent.
Re: How long did you bedshare?
We are still bed-sharing. I figure I'll start to transition when she is around 2 if she isn't ready before that.
We shall see!

DD1 co-slept for about a year, DD2 was about 18 months when she moved into her own bed/room, and DD3 was about 2.5 when she was ready.
When the girls were mostly sttn, we started transitioning them to a crib in our room and then eventually to their own room.
