Silly gender game for those that already know

Okay...so for those that don't mind amusing these nonsensical (but fun) gender games, please play along. My pregnant friend who delivers next month swears by this one "old wives tale." I'd love to get feedback from the women who know what they're having to see if it works for you.

Pull the skin down underneath your eye and look at the veins. In one eye, the veins will make a letter "v." If the "v" is in your left eye, you are supposed to be having a girl and in the right eye, it's a boy!

How many of you is this true for?

It sounded so silly, I had to look.

I don't know about a "v" shape, but the only eye I had veins in was my right and we are expecting a boy!

Right eye= Boy.. had word at my U/S that is might be a boy. But will confirm in December but she said she was pretty sure it was a boy.

It was accurate for me too...that was creepy! Mine looks more like a Y than a V, but the other one is parallel lines lol

Hmmmm??? Are you completely sure? Have someone else look for you so you can also roll your eye up and they can see underneath your eyeball. Sounds so gross!!! I'm just sure you have to have a V in one of your eyes Big Smile

ETA: Okay, I looked closer. Looks like the one on my left eye is more of a U, and I can't even tell if the veins touch at the bottom. In the right eye, however, it looks like I have two good Vs.

I'm most likely having a girl, according to my 18w appt. Sorry to rain on the parade!

Good question and the answer is "who the hell knows?!" lol...I only say that because this is "sort of" true for me too. I have a V on the bottom part of my eyeball in my left eye and then I have an upside down v on the skin part of my right eye. From what I understand, I think it's supposed to be on the actual skin. I've looked in other peoples' eyes that are not pregnant and they don't seem to have any V at all.

We don't know what we're having yet, but the V is in my right eye, so this suggests boy.

Someone posted another little game yesterday that also said boy for us. And the Chinese gender calendar says boy yet again.

We shall see...

Well its too early for me to know but I checked and its in my right eye so that means boy. The chinese gender calender also says boy and when we told my MIL she instantly thought boy and she has apparently never been wrong.. so far anyway. We wanted to be surprised but I might cave and ask the gender because this has my curiosity piqued.
