paci at naps only?

has anyone had success with only giving a paci for naps(and during the day) and NOT at night? We stopped using the paci as a "Sleep Crutch" about a month ago. We nurse to sleep at night, but that doesn't seem to be working for naps anymore. Is it possible to use it for naps and NOT have them expect it at bed time too?

    It's possible!  My LO uses for naps during the day (and, sometimes just falls asleep without during day...) and at night I dont really give it to her.  She nurses to sleep for bedtime and I will give it to her if she wakes before her 4 am nursing.  Otherwise, she doesnt really use it for nighttime

    We also only use it for naps during the day. Once he is out, he spits the paci out.
