We decided to bite the bullet and rent a house! (YAY!!!) We are very excited to have our own space again and really really like the house. It's a little smaller than we would like, but in a great area, close to lots of parks, little shops, restaurants, etc. in a smaller town. We will still be able to save, but it also means I will probably be going back to work full-time, but still part-time from home, part-time in the office. It's worth it though to have our own space and luckily, my best friend runs a daycare for kids under 2 out of her house so C will be with someone we know. I don't know when all of that will happen, and I still have to talk to my work since we just finished booking this season's episodes and are waiting to hear if we are getting picked up for a 4th season.
As great as it would be to have lots of extra cash in savings, I think we will be much happier and settled with our own space.
