the main problem is that I don't know if I can even get PG again, I have PCOS, and was never supposed to get of in the first place. I feel so lucky & blessed that we have Elizabeth. My PCP said we can't even think about trying until Jan/feb, which I think I can wait for. DH & I talked about it last night and he is onboard to start trying soon.
I am also worried about the stress of taking care of my dad. He's doing really well right now, but who knows how next month will be, or the month after? Will dealing with his illness be too much stress while PG.
As of now, I have insurance . I love my doctors, the paperwork & runaround I have to go through w/ an HMO is annoying, but I have very little out of pocket expenses when compared to comparable plans. W/ the issues I had w/ my last pregnancy, if I didn't have insurance, we'd be around 30k under in med bills. I could be cut any time after next October and I couldn't afford COBRA with the on call hours I'm working right now.
I feel in my gut that the time is ok, but I guess since we didn't "plan" Elizabeth, I don't really know how to go about this.
on another note, while I'm 27, and don't feel a major rush because of my age, DH is 37, so I'm afraid to wait forever.
Do you think I should make an appt. W/ my OB to talk about my options, going around my PCP's advice?

Re: I've got BOTB- Bad...really bad.
question: why did your pcp tell you no trying till jan/feb?
next, i would definitely talk to your ob, but asap if youre feeling the pregnancy vibe
third, not that your dad would need the motivation, but maybe having a new baby on the way will provide some strength for him at this time.
I say you just do it and worry about the technicalities later.

This!
Try vitamin D3!!!!! I was in the same boat as you, and while I 100% agree its important to rule out any health problems, it can't hurt to try it in the meantime. My migraines have all but disappeared since I started taking vitamins. Sorry to hear you are going through this too!
