Babies: 3 - 6 Months

No wonder she swims in 3-6 clothing!

DD hasn't been weighed in 2 months... and I guessed her weight to be around 14 pounds.  Well, I was WAY off.  She's not even 12.5 pounds!  Her 4 month stats are 12 lbs, 7 oz and 24.5 inches! (25th percentile for weight, 50th for height).  I guess she's still a little peanut (and those 0-3 clothes will be able to stay out of storage for a little while longer!)

  • Oh wow.  What a peanut.  DS was 13 lbs 8 oz at 2 months!  LOL.  She is the most adorable little peanut I've ever seen though.

  • As a peanut myself, I loved seeing her at the GTG! :)  I definitely think she has the peanut attitude.  The way she can stand on your hands says "I might be little but don't underestimate me!" :)

  • I understand! DD was 11 lbs 7 oz and 22 inches long so I'm thinking she's about 12lbs and 23 inches long now. We have a couple of peanuts :)

I love her peanut attitude.  And if she remains peanut-eque and stays in kids size shoes til her 20's, I know who to ask for shopping advice! Wink

  • DS is at 14lbs and we're right inbetween the 0-3 and 3-6. I hate that because he swims in 3-6 and 0-3 are almost too tight.

  • I've got a peanut myself....he still wears NB pants sometimes, if they're long enough.  He's 14lbs 12oz and 24 inches.  His 0-3 shirts are perfect and his 0-3 pants dont fall off anymore, lol

    We are with you.

  • I know how you feel! DD1 was 11.5 lbs 24.5" at 4 months and DD2 was 12 lbs 7oz and 23.5" at 4 months. Definitely little peanuts! I actually just packed away all of my 0-3 month stuff!

  • DS takes after me and is a little peanut himself. He's 5.5 mths and weighs 13lbs 9 oz.. Little peanuts are the best.

  • This is how E is. We will get her official stats tomorrow at her 4 month appt, but we think she is in the 11 pound range or low 12. Most of her 0-3 month clothes just now fit and many still swim on her. She can still wear some of her NB size pants. Got to love us some tiny babies with big personalities :)
  • Shes so tiny and cute!  Asher looks like a beast next to her!

Addie is the same.  At 4 months, she was 12 lbs 1 oz and 24.5 in.  At 5 months, she is 12 lbs 13  oz (we had a sick baby appt last week for fever).  She must have grown in length, because we are finally transitioning to 3-6 for length.  She was like this with newborn clothes too (still fit in some at 3 months), so it didn't surprise me at all.  Enjoy your peanut! Wink

How funny! We just returned from DD's 4 month appt and she is the exact same...12 lbs 1 oz and 24 in. I was worried because she is still hovering in the 18th percentile (she was 6lb 13oz at birth) but I guess she is joining the Peanut Club! We have a weight check scheduled at 5 months though- just to be safe.

  • Your DD is close in size to my DS.  At his 4-month appt. last week, he was 12 lbs. 13 oz. and 24 3/4 inches.

    Your daughter is absolutely adorable!

  • DD#2 is like that.  She is 27 months and still fits into her 12 month coat from last spring.  Her 18 month pants fall off of her.  She is barely 24 pounds.

  • at 14 weeks DD was 10lbs 8 oz. In the 10 th percentile. Dh was in the lowest percentiles as a baby too. But we met with a lactation consultant on friday and she is having me do a few things and I go back tomorrow to make sure she is still gaining and hopefully a few extra oz. I think DD is tiny just like her dad was, but they want to check to be sure it's not milk supply or anything.
