I know - we all want healthy babies - but is anyone getting a gut reaction either way?

I am thinking girl, though i am not sure why. I think it is just easier for me to find girl names i like.

I keep referring to the baby as "he" and it surprises me when I say it. I am hoping for a girl though. There has been so many boys in our circle of friends and family lately...I want a girl to break up the mix.

My DH and I both think its a boy because his side of the family has always been two boys then a girl. I would love a boy first but your right we will be estactic with healthy!

I'm thinking girl, but as you said I will be happy with a healthy baby. Perhaps I think it's a girl because as you said I have the cutest name picked out that I want to use and I'm having a feeling it wouldn't work for a boy, lol!

I tell everyone that I think that I am having a boy. I have two brothers and my husband is 1 out of 4 boys....My parents only have 1 granddaughter out of 7 grandbabies.

DH really wants a girl, but I know he'll still be absolutely thrilled if its a boy. I really don't care, which is funny - I used to think I'd want a boy, but after so long TTC, I'll take anything

However, we both do think it is a girl. Maybe wishful thinking on DH's part, but I think I'll be surprised if its a boy.

My gut tells me boy, though MH wants a girl first, but he said his gut is telling him boy, too. For me, it's our 1st baby, so either one would be perfect!

I think boy, since DH's family *always* has boys as the first child (we jokingly refer to it as the {last name} curse). I would love a little girl though, if we were blessed with one!

And speaking of names, we finally discussed them this weekend, and we're both on the same page. No names honoring long-gone great-great grandparents who we never met. We have a couple of rule-outs (anything that starts with E or L or S), and a definite girl's option, but I can't wait to get started making our name lists!

I'm convinced it's a boy. In a lot of ways I want a girl (for stupid and superficial reasons - girl names are fun, girl clothes are cuter), but honestly either will be wonderful.

My mom asked me this yesterday, I really have no idea. She said when we find out at the anatomy scan I'll be like "oh yeah, I think I knew that". Who knows if that'll happen?!

ETA: My stepdad is thinking girl- out of 15 moms in 3 generations of my family, only One aunt had a boy first.

I think we are having a boy, based on when we concieved and just a gut feeling. A friend and I also looked it up on one of those Chinese calenders and it said we would have a boy. I'm fine with either as long as it's healthy.

I read somewhere, I think in a little box in WTEWYE, that with girls, a women will crave sweet things and with a boy, she'll crave things like meat and cheese. I haven't really "craved" anything yet but I've definitely not been into the sweets so my guess right now is that it's a boy.

Girl, for sure. It isn't so much of a feeling as it is based on my charting. Since girl "swimmers" tend to be slower to the party and I ovulated 4 days AFTER we did the deed, I've got my money on having a girl. But, since things always tend to be the opposite of what I expect, it will probably be twin boys or something super weird like that.

For some reason I think it's going to be a Girl. Probably because i had my DD and I am just stuck on girls but DH REALLY wants a boy. If I ask DD she says she wants a "gill baby" (girl) but i dont think she really knows what that means. Honestly I would be happy either way but my gut is telling me girl.

I'm convinced I'm having a boy - but mostly because there are so many boys in DH's family and extended family. Also, because I want a girl. I won't be sad if it's a boy by any means, I want boys too

I just want at least one of my future children to be a girl - I want the same type of relationship I had with my mom....I see how DH and his brothers are with his mom, it's not that they don't love her, they're just not as super close.

I'm convinced that since I wanted to provide the family with the first boy, I'll have a girl. Otherwise, I have no clue. I'm like 3 seconds pregnant. Gender is the furthest thing from my mind right now.

even before we got pregnate MH jokingly said if we had a girl he would be moving in a trailor out back. He is surrounded by tons estrogen with myself, his daughter and animals. We are hoping for a boy but healthy is really all that is needed!

we dont mind either way, however I have always thought boy but recently been thinking it will likely be a girl. My dad said girl, my dr even said maybe it will be a girl when we went in to confirm if we were pregnant (ive known my dr forever so he will often say random things to me he wouldnt to a regular client)

so now I am thinking girl, But still have the thought of Boy in the back of my head.

Either way as long as its happy and healthy we don't mind!

I have to say......I honestly have NO idea. I'm not having strong intuition/feelings either way. DH is the same. He says he has no feeling about the gender.

I think girl. With DS I thought boy from the moment I found out I was pregnant. Last week I just had this feeling that it was a girl. I think we will find out this time (with DS we waited until birth) - but right now my gut is saying girl. I would be thrilled either way!!!

I used to only want a girl but I really don't have a preference now. DH wants a son of course but he told me he thinks we're gonna have a girl. That Chinese calender predicted a girl too We have a girl name picked out already...DH loved it because she will have his initials. I think he secretly wants a baby girl but is scared to admit it lol

Note sure the validity of this. My co-worker is 6 months pregnant with a boy, and all she wants is sweets, and her aversion is meat.

I think I'm having a girl. With my first pregnancy (girl), my m/s was much worse than with my second pregnancy (boy). This time around I have been feeling sicker and more like my first pregnancy, so I think it's a girl!

I completely understand what you mean. I want a girl for the same reasons, especially because my mom passed away when I was 19. I am really longing for the close bond of a M/D relationship that I had with my mom.

I do think I'm having a girl, but boys would be fine, as long as I get ONE girl. I'll keep going until I get one! lol
