Juliana is not always happy in the stroller and it makes things difficult sometimes. I have heard wonderful things about the Ergo (thanks Murfy) but I am not sure if it is worth the investment at this point. She is already almost 7 months old and about 21 lbs! What do you ladies think??
Re: Too late for the Ergo?
I just got one when C was just under 8 months old. I got it on sale, but it would have been worth it full price IMO. I was kind of worried since he was never a big fan of facing in, but we brought it on an overseas trip and it was a life saver! I even got him to sleep in it one time. It barely feels like you're carrying any weight.
I have a friend who occasionally carries her 2 yr old in it when he doesn't want to walk, so I would say it's definitely worth it!
I used it last night while helping DH put together a new office desk. Katie is 20 pounds and I had no issue while helping DH out.
I also took it to the SF Zoo and carried her all over the place, no problemo!
Ok, I'm sold...next question...any idea where I can get it the cheapest?
You're entering the best time to have it. LO will enjoy the back carry now that she's a little bigger.
I used it regularly with my DD until she was 4 years old.
Only one color but it is cheaper.

The closest one is an hour away
I got a Beco for Christmas, which is the same type of soft structured carrier. My DD1 turned two a few days later.
It was awesome to have while pregnant with a toddler. I could put her in it and run errands/shop and sometimes she would fall asleep, and I didn't have to waddle around chasing her or lifting her in and out of carts. (Carrying her on my back in the Beco was a breeze, but lifting her with my arms/belly was not.)
I've used it most with my DD2 (it's a great investment if you're planning to have more than one child), but I still can and do put my toddler in it at times, and she'll be three in January.
