what are your pet peeves (bump related)?
I was just reading Rawr08 post about someone saying her siggy was too busy. I know some people are annoyed by long siggies or too many tickers, etc. (those don't bother me). What is your pet peeve? I would say mine is posts that are titled "holy ______ batman". This is post is meant for fun.

Bad grammar, run-on sentences and some people's inability to use paragraphs!
Although I must say that this board is not really that bad. 1st tri is the worst!
My peeves would be the terms preggers and prego. My family works for Campbell's and right now I have 2 cases of sauce sitting in my living room and I don't like to be compared to pasta sauce.

In my other life as a naive pregnant lady, I used one of those tickers. The 8 week picture reallllllly bothered me, but I kept it because I wanted to see the later pictures. My ob guesses that my LO died at about 8 weeks. I have horrible guilt over that. Irrational I know.

When people post things like "____OMG HELP" and it's about what color to paint their nails or something just as meaningless.
When someone says their DH/DC/dog does something, "like a champ."
When someone types like this: "The sky? Was totally blue." Ack!
Posts titles that are so vague that you have no idea the content inside...and usually when you click through it's pointless.
Oversized and multiple photos of people's children...I'm talking photos that are as wide as the width of a post and super tall. I know that they think their kid is cute, but I don't. Smaller pictures are fine.

Sparkling tickers
Cycle tickers that don't click through to a chart. I hate it when they're just bump tickers with no meaningful info on the other side. Sorry folks if you have one of these. I just like stalking charts on FF.

Sig pics of early u/s with motivational sayings written in. I'm not even a big fan of later u/s's as sig pics, honestly.

Yep, yep and yep. Pictures should be kept to a reasonable size (esp if you have multiple pics in the siggy).
Oh, and like a PP said, people who only come to a board to offer snark and put-downs. (First tri not withstanding)

The hate against Preggo, Preggers, etc etc. I don't use them but I find it a little silly when people get so bent out of shape when people say it.
Multiple tickers for the same thing. Pretty sure you're still 8 weeks along no matter how many tickers you have.
The phrase "showing the goods" when referring to the anatomy scan. It really REALLY creeps me out for some reason.
Bump pics when you're like 4 weeks pregnant.
