photos at park with 40 mph wind gust have me worried :/

it is suppose to be occasional gusts but I'm afraid of falling branches or trees for that matter..especially since the horrible freak tragedy this past summer at the same park from a falling branch...

thinking I should ask for the photos to be  taken at another location in the park by fountain where trees would not be all over us...

am I being too paranoid??  I do that a lot...ugh

    I'd try to find somewhere somewhat sheltered, only because the pics probably wouldn't be that great in really windy conditions. I know my kids hate having wind in their faces, etc.

    lol. Trees falling is the least of worries - what about your hair? !

    If you're freaked out, move the shoot. You won't look good in poses all freaked out ;-)

    (but since you said your shoot was in mid day sun, you might have to listen to your photog about locals... harsh sun like that overhead never looks good.)

    I say paranoid but that's me. 40mph is strong but its not horrifically strong. If you get there and its too breezy by the trees, move. Note, the trees will block a lot of the wind.

    i agree with madhatter.

    Childhood cancer (DH) + chemo + radiation = 0 sperm.
    LO #1 - 1 unmedicated/self-monitored IUI w/ donor sperm.
    LO #2 - 1 m/c, 2 BFNs, 4th IUI worked (unmedicated/self-monitored with new donor sperm).
    Life is beautiful!

    Are you going to central park? We'll be there at 10am and im worried about the wind too! Mayday is in nyc already so i bet she'll move it if its bad out...

    yes..and you are right..sure mayaday will pick the right place!!! Our shoot is at 3pm!!
