Made chili last night, put it in fridge overnight. Set it out on the counter this morning.

Forgot to turn it on.

Doh.

Brian said he might go home at lunch to turn it on (bless his heart)...otherwise it's a waste of food because it will have sat out all day.

I did that once..only with pot roast. Took the time to clean all the carrots, potatoes, onions, and season the roast....then walked out the door without turning it on.

Shawn did this a few months ago except he was home all day. I was like, didn't you notice that you didn't smell anything cooking all day? Didn't you walk by it one single time and think about glancing at it? Booo for wasting food!
