But it was a-okay that she, unprovoked, told me she hopes that I choke first? Hoping someone chokes is just as vile and harmful, particularly since I had done NOTHING to her to make her say this to me. I find it hard to believe some people think that going after a poster, calling her names and wishing harm on her is ok until that poster strikes back! And then you want that poster Banned but not the person who started it and wished harm first. Hmmm.

You have to agree, Robyn, that it's more than slightly hypocritical of you to report Emjay when your posts cross the line. It doesn't matter who started what - we're adults here...Stop deflecting blame. Am I correct in saying that you believe Emjay should be banned? By your reasoning alone, you should be banned too for your outlandish posts.

The fact is, even if Misskel22 had to deal with a three day or 7 day I think it would be worth it to see Robyn gone.
I've said to people that "Oh you should choke on your words." "Oh I wish she'd choke on _______" but it's not sincere. Hell I've said I'd like to shove my foot up someone's ass before, but that doesn't mean I literally wanted my foot in their rectum.
This woman went on a psychotic rant about Misskels mom and wishing she fell down the stairs. Hers seemed rageful. Miskels seemed facetious.
No one wants her here. But, everyone likes misskel. She's more likely to be forgiven for her comment than robyn for hers, and for good reason. You could tell who was serious and who wasn't. Robyn was dead serious, and I would stake money on that.

As for the banned members post, it's only visible to mods. It's a report thread. Not a regular thread.
Actually, I think when you report a post it shows up in your history as a created post with the complaint as the title. So I think that was just her description of why it was reported. I'm not 100% sure though, I havent actually reported anything.
You took the words right out of my mouth. I think it's pretty obvious when people aren't serious and I, too, thought Robyn was serious. Most of the snark on here is meant to be funny and there's absolultely nothing wrong with calling people out for their absurd posts...If people can't handle that they should go elsewhere.
Robyn said she meant for what she said to be hurtful. Not that she actually want Misskell to fall down a flight of stairs and die.
OK this is at least objective.
1) I have NEVER deflected any blame. AT ALL. I have NEVER not claimed what I said to Misskel, nor that it was REALLY REALLY RUDE. I don't call it blame. But I own what I said.
2) When you say my "posts" (plural) crossed the line. Which posts besides the one directed at Misskel... which was after she wished harm upon me? I'd be interested to know which other posts you consider to be "crossing the line". Thanks
3) The reson Misskel called me those names was BECAUSE of the Emjay reporting. So I think I am not understanding what you mean by I am being a hypocrite or reporting Emjay because my "posts crossed the line". Maybe if there's something you can point to that I posted BEFORE I reported Emjay? Or just explain what you meant here...
4) I believe the rules mention something about "threats"... I have to read them. But neither Misskel nor I threatened each other. She wished harm on me, I replied in kind. A wish does not equal a threat. That is why I believe there has been no banning. ALthough I do need to read the rules maybe a wish of bodily harm is a bannable offense. If so, she goes and so do I. Or maybe she goes for saying it unprovoked. I dont know
5) I never took a position on Emjay's original banning. At all. I have made it clear that I never even had an issue with her, nor she with me. My issue was AFTER she was banned (don't know who reported her) she immiediately created a new Screen Name, came back announced it was her and started bashing THIS board and recruiting for starting her own. So the thread I made was asking, How is it that Banned Members can Return under a New Screen Name? I felt that Emjay should have just taken her 3 day or 5 day or whatever ban. It was just MY OPINION. It wasnt spoken rudely, or nasty. In fact, I said, "I have no horse in this race, I just want to understand this rule". It was AFTER this that the Bump banned her "permanently" and shortly after that, Misskel attacked me and then I replied.
In general, I would think telling someone their mom is a "dumb biitch" and well, here... I'll just post it...
Some people would be hurt by that. However, I think Misskel was able to consider the source. I think it's the general principal that you just don't say that to a pregnant woman. And look at what she said and how she said it.
You cannot say she didn't mean it.

Neither of these women were in any real danger in this debacle.
I understand that everyone is upset about the recent drama and bannings and Robyn is not a popular name but I think alot of posters are being blinded by their love for Misskel and are incapable of seeing this objectively.
Yes what Robyn said was stupid and mean and childish but Misskel wasn't attacked without provocation. And now two wrongs don't make a right. It makes two people trying to do each other in a douche race.
Look - if she gets banned, not banned, whatever. I hope her baby is healthy, and that's about it. I doubt anyone will ever really gain any helpful information from her now that we see what slime oozes out of that twisted mind, nor will she really ever matter here unless there is some biblical change of character. Perhaps it's time to move on, and take this as a lesson that you can actually wish physical harm here on The Bump, and even proudly defend it with no consequences.
Edited to say that part about wishing physical harm, sadly, includes Misskel.
Many of us tend to get snarky on here but I can't believe someone would be enough of a b!tch to say something like that. And yet for some reason it doesn't suprise me in this case.
