Baby Book Recs and How to START IT!

GUILT>GUILT>GUILT - I have not started mine yet - how do you ladies find the time? Can you recommend your baby book and the best way to start?

    I bought ours at Target when DD was around 6 months. I felt super guilty that I hadn't done it.  I usually update it like once a month like after LO has gone to bed and DH is playing that horrible MW2.  That is the only time I find that game tollerable....when I need to do something like edit pics or update the baby book.  The only way I was able to get all of the little details was to go back and look thru emails that I had sent out to real close friends and family while PG.  I emailed brief weekly updates.  GL...it's a look of brain wracking to start off.  Once you get going if you semi keep up with it, it's not so bad.

    I love my baby book - it's by Edna Mae, or Modern Baby Books.

    Whichever you want to call her.

     She does GORGEOUS work & her books can be customized (like, I had her change the "Christening" page to "Baby Dedication").  & it will walk you through what to put in there - stats, thoughts, what you did on the first Christmas, etc.

    This is the one that we have. 

    I recommend one that is "guided," and you fill in sections, not something that you have to come up with stuff.  

    Also, if you have FB & update it regularly (I'm a FB slut when it comes to Bean updates), you can go back & reference.

    I just picked up a cute one at BRU - my guilt is regarding her photo album. We've got tons of ultrasound pics in the front, and then like two ACTUAL pics of her. Meanwhile our coffee table drawers are full of pictures of her, which she pulls out and mangles on a regular basis.

    I was religious about updating it at first, but now when special moments happen, I record it in my phone and then go through my phone about once a month and write everything in the book.
