DS is pooping a lot lately, thoughts?

Usually, DS is very regular and has been having one big poopy diaper every morning shortly after he wakes up. It is an eventful day if he poops more than twice. Last week he had a day where he pooped a lot and towards the end of the day, it was more like diarrhea. Yesterday he pooped about 6 times total, some were more watery than others.. (DH is home with DS during the day so I didn't see all the diapers). This morning he had a large poopy diaper and DH just emailed me saying he had two more runny poops today and it's only 11 am.

He typically eats a YoBaby yogurt each morning because he LOVES yogurt. We thought maybe the package we bought had gone bad so DH threw out the last one yesterday.. so this is still happening though.. He hasn't had any problems with any other foods so it was just a thought.

He just got in a 5th tooth last week and seems to always be teething. He leans forward and drool pours out of his mouth.. do you think this could be teething related? He doesn't seem sick otherwise.. any thoughts would be appreciated! TIA.

    I was told that teething can give them diarrhea because they are swallowing so much saliva.  Our pediatrician said just feed him through it.  watch for diaper rash though.  If it keeps up I would call your own doc just to make sure.

    Thanks for the reply. I was thinking about calling his pedi. but was hoping it would be resolved.. I may give a call today.
