It's a girl!

I don't know what it is about the "big u/s," but it just made everything seem so real for us. It also makes me feel completely unprepared since we've spent the past few months loving the idea of the baby, but not really doing anything to prepare for her arrival. My butt is in preparation mode now and it's so incredibly exciting!!!

I have been feeling the same way. I feel that if I don't get the nursery painted soon, it will never be done in time! lol. MH is HORRIBLE with painting, unless I want paint drips everywhere, I have to do it myself.

We are working on our list of names right now. We actually lucked out because we already had a short list of girls names, but we didn't have a single name in the boy column.

As for the nursery, I thought I knew exactly what I wanted and now that I know we're having a girl I've thrown that idea out the window. Shopping with focus on just girls has given me a whole new perspective. Poor DH, he just doesn't understand why women change their minds so much! I'm lucky he's a patient man.
