So yesterday when I went to the urgent care for the second time, because I just.couldn't.take.it.anymore. I went to Target right after for my second prescription in three days. Now just picture this...I look like death. I walk up to the counter and the gal says they are closing for lunch. This is the conversation:
Lopo: "Are you kidding me! Do I look well to you?!"
Target ***: "I'm sorry. But we'll be open again in 1 hour."
Lopo: "ONE HOUR!! You've got to be kidding me! Do you think I want to drag my sick ass self home now only to come back in ONE HOUR?!"
Target ***: "I'm sorry miss." (At least she said miss and not ma'am.)
Lopo: "If I had know this, I would have taken my prescription elsewhere! Which I now plan to do in the future!"
I then proceed to start bawling while I walk out of Target.
The end.

I don't work for Target, but we are closed for a half hour on the weekends when only one pharmacist works. Because that half hour is the only time we get a break during a 10 hr day. The hourly technicians are required by law to punch out and get a break. But salaried pharmacists are not.
In my own experience, if you had talked (nicely) to the pharmacist they would have stayed themselves and done it for you.
And to pp who said they would have called and complained about the customer service.....Although she didn't feel well, she is the one that yelled and was rude. Even what she wrote is that the worker apologized and informed her of when they would re-open. We got to read the background of knowing that she went to urgent care and felt horrible and needed the 2nd script in 3 days. The poor tech, or in her word the target ***, did not. She worked her shift, was closing for lunch, and got jumped on.
Anyway, hopefully you are starting to feel better today.
Really this was just meant to be funny that I started bawling while leaving. I never yelled, I just pretty much looked pathetic. It would have been nice if she would have just taken a little pity on me seeing as how sick I am.
Ahh, I took your second response - the ONE HOUR thing as yelling.
I mean it more as an eternity, especially feeling like a pile of crap.
But to be serious, I was surprised that they close for lunch. Target is always busy, and I would have thought they rotate for breaks. Oh well, now I know.
