My lochia turned red and heavy again...

I had my c section 10/1 and my lichia had gotten lighter an light brown in color. This morning I woke up to a full blown red clotty lochia. It actually looks like a period would look- but I only delivered 1.5 weeks ago and am BFing....could it be my period? No, right? Should I call my Dr? Just curious if this happened to anyone else

    This is normal and is not your period. Mine went from red to yellow back to red then brown now finally back at yellow and I will be 6 wks pp tomorrow.

    I had the same thing as you . I bleed off and on for 9 wks, before it completely stopped , then got my period . For a few days it would be light, then heavy again . Youll definetly know  it the Lochia by the smell too ....gross I know .

    It's normal for it to stop and start....if you were more active yesterday or tried to do too much it'll turn red and clotty again.

    I bled off and on for about 7 wks- and same thing it would almost stop and the bam it would start again- heavy and bright red

    I was told that unless you clot big time or feel faint that it is normal, but if you do see alot of clots and feel faint then you need call.
