does your LO hate having their nose wiped constantly? enter...

DD's nose is running like crazy from teething and she hates having her nose constantly wiped.  I found a product at Target called "boogie wipes" They are just wipes that have saline on them and smell good... I love them!

I normally don't waste money on stuff like this, but these are great.  Thought I'd share!

    DD hates when I wipe her nose. You would think I was torturing her. Now I make a game out of it (sing, make beeping noise, laugh, clap) and that keeps her from spazzing out.

    Oh yes.  Do it while she is asleep... so easy!  I figured out that little trick after fighting DD1 for 6 months.  A mama told me to do it while she was asleep.. I was like, Doh!

    I "pick" DS's nose at least 5x a day. He used to have no issue with it, but now he throws a fit everytime he sees me twisting the baby wipe to go up his nose. He has reflux and gets what I call "milk boogers"

    I use sensitive wipes so they are safe to use anywhere on his body.

    He used to laugh when I did it and now he acts like I'm killing him. My Mom acts like I'm abusing the poor kid because I do it anyway (and sometimes laugh at him). I know it doesn't hurt - it tickles - he just hates being held down.

    I think Boogie Wipes will send you coupons or samples if you check out their website or get on their mailing list.  Its been a while but I thought they were on a freebie list I saw during my pregnancy.

    I think I'm going to give these a try. DS hates when we wipe his nose and like your DD with the teething we have going on, it's running all the time. He doesn't mind it as much if I use a wipe.

    Isabella hates having her nose wiped too, but we LOVE the Boogie wipes!!! They're great at keeping her little nose and face from getting chapped, and they smell great too. Plus, she doesn't squirm as much when I'm using the wipes then if I am coming at her with the snot sucker.

    I really think that the grape scent is what makes this work so well.  They can smell something good coming and forget whats about to happen! hehe
