sleeping with loose blankets?

When did you start letting your LO sleep with loose blankets? Or when do you plan to?

Now that she is 6 months I would be ok with it. She is usually warm enough with her sleepers now. Incidentally, when she was 3 months old (in June) my mom watched her for a few days, and I came home to find her crib full of blankets. I was not exactly thrilled, especially since it was June, but she made it just fine Smile

The weather is going to get cold. We don't have central heating, only a wall heater and fireplace. The bedrooms don't get warm. So she will sleep with blankets this winter, when it gets cold. But they will be light.

We will this winter at 1 year. We used a sleep sack all last winter and even a few days last month when it got really cold.

Thanks for the input everyone! Poor C seems to get so cold at night in his crib by himself so I'm trying to figure out how to keep him warm. I think we need a nice sleepsack and maybe a safe space heater. You would think he would stay warm with all his chub!

I think KiKi likes to be abnormally warm. I think this winter she will need a sleepsack and a blanket.
