DH wanted me to pick up some bread and stuff for him while I'm in the hospital. I think this might be enough bread. (We're freezing/fridging most of it for quick sandwiches and stuff after I get home.) At the Franz bakery outlet in Lynnwood, I got:
3 loaves of french bread
3 loaves of sourdough
1 bag rolls
3 loaves wheat bread
2 boxes granola bars
2 packages tortillas
2 packages english muffins
2 boxes doughnut holes
Total:
$18.41.
Sweet. I love the outlet store.

Unable to even.

Re: I had a Jaxy kind of shopping day, but without the coupons.
CG, I love you for making me into an adjective.
And I, too, love the bakery outlet! You can't get those 100-calorie sandwich rounds, and, uh, donut holes, anywhere else for that cheap!
Me too!
And I am SO excited for the new WinCo down the street from me! Woo for cheap groceries!
Apparently I'm the only one who doesn't exactly know what a bread outlet is...can someone enlighten me? I'm gathering it's not old, out-of-season bread like some outlet stores.
I am looking forward to checking out the new WinCo too, though!
