I should have done this Friday or Saturday so that if I failed I would have enough time for making and drying out a new one. Drying takes about 5-7 days. So anyway here I am at midnight on Tuesday morning and i dont know if it looks okay. It kinda cracky in a few places and the mouth looks wierd to me, but I dont know what to do to fix besides start all over. and even then I dont know if I can get the mouth right or avoif cracks in the cheeks again.
so is it passable or does it just look creepy.
FYI: the face will be going on a 3D train cake.
Re: Help: creepy or passable (cake related)
Looks like a train face to me! I vote passable!
Steal my kids picture or pretend they are yours, I will find where you live and ship all of their dirty diapers to your doorstep. Promise.

I think it could go either way depending on the setting...surrounded by train stuff, it's easily Thomas (and I even thought Thomas when I saw the pic). In a Halloween setting, it's a pitchfork shy of being a devil.

TTC #2 for a million years: SA normal, CD 23 bloodwork shows nothing amiss, ovulation detected. Next step: ? maybe CD3 bloodwork to check eggs? All out of pocket, so limited IF tests/treatments.
Thanks ladies. I think your right about it being creepy cause its by itself. onceI get it on the cake it will look better. now my worry is I made it to big! I havent baked the cake or started sculpting yet so hopefully I didnt make it to big. But then again I can always add more frosting to even it out.
more frosting is always good.
Oh and about the eyebrows. thats how his eyebrows are on the toy I used as a model. I looked at another train today and he had regular eyebrows so IDK I guess each Thomas is different.
