What are you getting people this year?

 We figure we have a get out of jail free card and get get people the same stuff and they won't be upset...

Getting MIL/SIL: Gift Cards for a Merry Maid house cleaning

BIL/FIL: we got 2 coupons for $50 for $150 worth of Omaha Steaks

My mom and family...totally blank on that...

    We usually do books for everyone (we are a very bookish family all around!).  I imagine this year there will be some sort of grandparent gift and an uncle/aunt gift for my bro and SIL.

    It depends.  We don't start shopping until after Thanksgiving, so we'll see if I'm still up to it.  We'll probably just end up doing gift cards.

    I have plenty of time to shop so I am getting gifts.

    I order 2 gifts each pay day starting 2 paydays ago.

    ALL the kids in my life are done.

    We have finished my mom and stepdad as well as dh's mom.  I need to get gifts for the kids in the family as well as our 2 boys.  They have developed expensive tastes now tha tthey are in middle school.  They're getting one big gift and only a couple of gifts for under the tree.  They get way too much stuff every year anyway.

    Our list isn't too long.  We have to buy gifts for my 2-year-old niece and DH's 6-year-old nephew, but everyone else is getting gift cards.

    check out "blurb.com"... They do awesome books you make yourself... I'm making a recipie book for friends, and photo albums for family.

    Oh... and we haven't shared our baby name with anyone yet... so family members are getting home made mugs that say "Name Loves Grandma" you get the idea..... everyone will learn our little boy's name on christmas.

    For my mom/MIL: grandmother willow tree.

    For my gram/DH's gram: generations willow tree.

    We are taking all our siblings (all 7 of them) out to dinner...as a final dinner before they are all Aunts & Uncles.

    DH's gramps (3 of them)...who knows?

    We're probably doing a lot of gift cards and things like that.  I'm not going to be up for walking the mall for hours this December.  Thankfully, we don't have a whole lot of people to shop for.
