AW: new tub surround! NTTCALR...unless you count shower FWP ;)

While we were out of town at a wedding this weekend, our landlord came over and installed a new tub surround in our bathroom.  It's nothing fancy, but I'm super excited about it because the one that was in there was SO nasty and old. 

Also, I told him to help himself to the beer in the fridge if he wanted to.  We came home to an empty 12-pack...he drank the whole thing!!!  Who does that!?  I thought he'd have maybe 2-3 beers over the course of the weekend.  I mean, I'm happy to sweeten the pot for him so that he is more inclined to do work for us, but I didn't expect him to drink us dry!

Ah well, he got a lot done, so I'm happy.  I just thought it was odd that he would drink ALL of our beer.

    Dude, if I drank that much beer, I would barely be sober enough to walk much less install a shower!  WOW!

    And really when someone says help yourself it does not mean clean them out!

    But glad you got a new shiny tub!  Guess you need to christen it now!

    That is crazy!  There is no way he really drank all 12 and still managed to do anything.  I promise he stuffed his toolbox (haha, that sounds dirty) full of beers and walked off.  Next time I would offer water!

    How odd that he would drink the whoooooole thing! I would be drunk off my a$$ if I did that! But glad you got your shower in!

    In his defense, I think he did it over the course of the whole weekend, so (hopefully) he didn't down the whole 12-pack in one afternoon.  Also, he took out our recycling for us, lol.

    WOW the whole 12 pack?! That is impressive and still getting some work done too! It is a little strange that he would take/drink them all. BUt at least you got something out of it! Myabe he will be inclined to do more work for you guys since you were so "generous"! :)

    I hadn't thought of that...I'll bet you're right.  He just doesn't strike me as the kind of guy who would just take bottles of beer home with him.
