Diaper brands?

We're planning on disposable diapers. I would like to stock up early, or at least get my registry going.. any recommendations on brands? What's good? What worked for you, or what have you heard?

    Different brands work for different babies. They all fit a little differently. I wouldn't stock up on one brand until the baby is here and you figure out what works best for them.

    Everybody likes something different. Get a couple of each and find out what works best for you.

    As for me, we use Huggies durng the day, and Papers Baby Dry (without DryMax!) at night. We liked both Pampers and Huggies for DD when she was a newborn, but quit using any Pampers with DryMax.

    We used Pampers at the beginning (not sure now with all the drama about them) Huggies gave DD a terrible burn. I then switched to the Sams Club brand and liked those, and since Target re-did theirs, I still use them at night for DD.  So I think I am going to go cheap and use Target or Sams Club as long as they hold up with a newborn

    We used Pampers Swaddlers for the first 9 months or so and loved them! I didn't really care for Huggies or Luvs but as has been said, different brands work better for different babies.

    I would try a couple of different packs after the baby is born and you'll probably find out really quickly what you like.

    We've used the Costco store brand since the  beginning and haven't had a problem.  I think  they are the same as Huggies Supreme.

    I'll start by trying Huggies.  I've heard too many bad things about the Pampers Dry Max to bother with them.  Sucks because my other kids used Pampers.

    Till they got older, then I got cheap and bought Luvs.

    This. We personally love pampers. DS has leaked through Huggies every time he has worn them. They just don't fit him right.

    For all three I used Pampers swaddlers while they were newborns.

    I used Pampers with my girls who were both chubby babies & Huggies Supreme for my son who was a skinny baby. Then we switched to cloth.

    I would suggest trying different kids before stocking up.

    You can ask for diaper gift cards on your registry too.

    I used pampers swaddlers when he was a new baby. Then switched to huggies around 4 months maybe?

    Love huggies!

    I've heard boys do better with huggies and girl with pampers, not sure why.

    Yes, ask for giftcards or buy a gift card every time you go grocery shopping and just keep them for diaper fund only!

    Pampers. Huggies are good, Luvs if you want something less expensive.

    Pampers. I have used pampers since he was born, first swaddlers and now Baby Dry. I tried generic once and didnt like them (leakage).

    Pampers Swaddlers are wonderful when they are small (I think the biggest size is 2-3) and then once they are into Size 3 we switched to Pampers Cruisers.. I'm a huge fan!

    I have bought a few packages here and there when I have good coupons. I have 5 packages right now.

    I would stock up. Why not? Buy different brands and you will use them all.

    We got 20 packages as diapers for our DS and we used them all. All different brands, but when it comes down to it, as long as your LO doesnt have a bad reaction, they all do the same job.

    I didn't stock up.  I bought a few packages when they clearanced out, but besides that I've only bought Pampers.  I LOVED the Swaddlers when DS was little, but then moved onto Cruisers.  He never had a reaction.

    Oh, I did buy the jean Huggies this summer for strutting his stuff in the (almost) buff during the warm weather!  They were too cute to resist!
