Aaah gotcha. I spent a few months on the TTC board, so I'm accustomed to WAY less kumbaya than this. Haha Puppies and rainbows are all well and good, but there's got to be some blunt truth thrown in there otherwise people are just foolin' themselves!

Its tough to say, because some AWs are interesting (I personally like seeing crafty things, nursery pictures, ultrasound pictures, etc.), but some are just down right stupid. Just because you label it as an AW, doesn't make it okay to post pointless announcements day after day.

I'll go with I'm a swinger - I do enjoy puppies and raindows...but a good down and dirty mud slinging post is also enjoyable as well! As for the AW's I'm with ya, most are un-needed. Unless you are showing me a picture of something that would interest me, don't AW yourself.
I'm trying to find the energy to do some laundry or something relatively productive. DH has already dusted and vacuumed (shockingly, in that order) and done the dishes. I, on the other hand, are holding down the couch and watching football.

I think in this instance, with what we're talking about, you've either noticed it and it's already getting on your nerves and you know exactly what we're referring to, or it's probably not something that has bugged you/will bug you in the first place.. if that makes sense.
I can't get myself to pay attention to doing my homework today. So can I play too? I'm with bubbles; I flip between enjoying PnR and mudslinging. Unless the AW has a super cute picture of a nursery, baby, or something else I just have to see I tend to not care. BOTB I like the new picture but it threw me off at first; I don't like change ya know.
for the record, the person in question has never once complained about getting one-starred. the OSB was more something that caught the attention of a few like minded people.

I can usually figure these things out without asking, but what is AW? I see it sometimes but usually just ignore it.
oh I love AW for cute things, it's basically my favorite. we're speaking about repeated AW for drama drama drama.

I'm aware of that...if I remember correctly (which may not be the case as Baby Brain has kicked in major time with me) there were a few posts back about a OSB and what it meants and they were questioning why they would post a certain persons post as 1 star. Which is why it bothers me that people care so much about the starring process. But then again I guess I could be wrong.
