At my 26 week appointment they said he's measuring about 10 days ahead. I'm not sure if he had just gone through a growth spurt or if he's continuing to grow at a rabbit's pace. I'm sure my appointment next week will help verify that!
He was measuring exactly one week ahead at my 31 wk u/s, but they didn't even mention it to me. I guess they found it irrelevant. I'm glad I paid attention to the numbers on the screen, though, or I'd never know.
Last week, my LO was measuring 2 weeks ahead and his head was measuring 3 weeks ahead (at 27w2d he was 29w3d). I have been measuring two weeks ahead by fundal height for months, so it doesn't surprise me.

At 29 weeks LO was 3lb 6oz which if I'm not mistaken that is ahead of schedule. They didn't mention how far ahead we are by weeks I have an appt on next Wednesday and then 2 weeks after that will be my last u/s. I guess they will tell me at that point.
On Wednesday E was measuring almost 34 weeks... Fundal (sp?) height is right on track so.. I dunno. I'm only 31 weeks on Sunday though. Has anyone been told that measuring big may result in early arrivals?
I was wondering this myself. Perhaps so many of the Dec LOs are trying to escape because they are running out of space in there.
Re: If your LO is measuring large
I was told she is in the 90th percentile and the tech said she was 4 lb and I *think* he said 3 oz. (This was at 30w 2d).
I have GD so I suggested that is why she was big. The u/s tech said she was "symmetrically" big and would probably be that size anyway.
