So Dylan has been sleeping like crap lately and I have been a walking zombie from having to take care of him by myself at night. Well in the mornings if it's been a brutal night I will put the dog in his crate, lay out Dylan's play blanket on the floor with toys and let him play while I snooze on the couch. I feel guilty but when he gets fussy I do get up and start my day. Usually I can get an extra 20-30 minutes!
Re: My FFC -sleeping in
Oh yeah this is after waking up 3 times + AND waking up at 4:30/5am! I think my kid hates sleeping!
My daughter has started waking up earlier, but not making any noise to let me know. This morning I set my alarm for 6:15 so I could see if she was awake, which she was. She was happily rolling around in her crib, so I let her continue to do so for another 45 minutes until she made a noise. Then I got up and got her.
I feel kinda guilty, but she's content and quietly playing, while I get some much-needed rest.

I do this sometimes on the weekends. I usually lie on the floor and rest while I can still hear him babbling onto himself...and then when he's fussy, I feed him breakfast and then put him down for a morning nap. :P
It's survival, as far as I'm concerned.
Happy Birthday, little man. We love you so much!
