Temps and Provera

Does anyone know what taking Provera will do to your temps?

 Per dr.'s orders I started Provera last night at cd45. My temps went up yesterday but I thought it was just due to the fact that I was sleep deprived, but this morning another temp jump. Is this due to the Provera or has my body finally decided to ovulate? I am assuming it is the Provera but I wanted to see if anyone else has had similar experiences?

    I just went back & checked all of my previous charts.  I did not see a temp jump any of the times I've taken Provera.

    Clomid/Femara cycle #1 - 6/10 = BFN
    Clomid/Femara cycle #2 - 7/10 = BFP #1 - Missed miscarriage 9/2/10
    11/12 - BFP #2 - 11/22 - m/c
    5/1/11 - BFP #3 - Pre-eclampsia, IUGR & bed rest from 32w. DD born via induction 1/4/12.

    It is most likely due to Provera. I've always had high temps when I took Provera.

    Did you test before taking Provera?

    good to know.. plan on starting to temp and provera is in my future.

    Yes, I took an IC HPT and OPK, just to be sure, both negative.

    Provera is basically progesterone, which is the same stuff that makes your temp go up after you O, so you should expect to see a jump.
