Q about 1 hr glucose test

Do I need to fast for this? My paperwork does not say and I was hoping to go in to the lab early tomorrow morning to do it.

    They just told me no caffeine and eat like normal before going in.

    I drink my stuff at home and was just told not to eat after I drink it.  Just water.

    For one hour you don't have to fast, the 3 hour you do fast.  Just don't eat anything after you drink the stuff for the one hour.

    I was told to fast and drink the drink one hour before my appointment.  I didn't have to fast the night before or morning of.

    My Dr. told me I could eat as I normally do, just making sure not to overload on sugar beforehand.
    DS (7 years old) from FET in 2010
    DD (5 years old) from IUI in 2012
    TTC 3rd and final!: IUI #1 in progress!

    My Peri told me not to drink 2 gallons of orange juice before going in, but otherwise, eat as normal.

    I still fasted, though.  ;)


    After 2 rounds of IVF & 2 rounds of FET, we were blessed with identical twin girls!

    I was not told to fast and to eat like normal. I drink the drink at the ob office and get the blood drawn an hour later. 
    TTC since 8/07 DX - Severe MFI/azoospermia & MTHFR/ TESEs found sperm - 7/08 & 6/09/ 12/08 - IVF#1 - BFN/ 6/09 - IVF #2 - cancelled due to OHSS risk (had retrieval)/ 7/09 - FET #1 - BFN/ 9/09 - FET #2 - BFN/ 11/09 - IVF #3 with new RE cancelled twice - 10/09 & 11/09/ 1/10 - IVF #3 take 3 - BFN/ 4/10 - IVF #4 - first ever BFP on 5/13/10!!! 108 @ 10dp3dt/ 2nd beta 311!/ sono on 5/28/10 said TWINS!!!!     I was told nothing to eat for 2 hours before the test and if I needed to, I could have a little water within 2 hours before the test.
    TTC #1 w/ endo since Sept 2005. After many losses, a lap, tons of meds and tons of testing and, one failed IVF cycle, we were blown away with a surprise, sticky BFP...it's a girl!!! Lilypie Second Birthday tickers

    Obviously, we all get very different instructions, so go by whatever your paperwork says (or don't worry if it doesn't say).  I had a different OB in my last pregnancy and had completely different instructions...
