Mother's Helper

HI Ladies,

My husband and I are expecting identical twin girls in November! We are very excited!

We are looking to hire a mother's helper to help at the beginning and also help when my husband and I go back to work. ( we'll both be working at home some days with help from our families as well)

Do any of you have any recomendations on mother's helpers or any sites that you have used to start referring potential helpers?

Any advice is greatly appreciated! thx

sittercity is a website that you can post what you are looking for and then weed out the applicants you don't want. Also check your local highschool. they have babysitting classes and students are always looking for jobs.

Have you thought about hiring a postpartum doula?  I am DONA trained myself (and I have a client due with twins this Fall!).  I'd be happy to talk more about the role of a doula, etc.  Email me if I can help!
