Anyone know of any canned beans w/o BPA in the cans?
DD got a taste of beans today and loved them- I am thinking that when we travel w/ the IL's right after Xmas I will have to bring some/most of the food for her (we will have a fridge in our room) and was wondering if anyone had come across some BPA-free canned beans-
thanks!

Re: Canned Beans w/o BPA?
This article says that Eden Brand makes cans without BPA.

It never even occured to me that a company might make BPA-free bean cans! What we do ifor our own beans is soak and cook 1 or 2 pounds of beans at a time, then freeze them in small batches. Then, just defrost and prepare or serve. That might work with the fridge or a cooler.
More Green For Less Green
If you do something like this, be sure to keep them cold. Cooked beans have a very high food poisoning potential.
