I'm due at the end of November and would like to still be able to go out. I'm concerned that family will want to pass around the baby like a hot potato and it will be during flu season. I was thinking a snug babywearing sling may preven some of that. Any recommendations or your thoughts on the matter? Am I just being paranoid?
Re: babywearing newborn rec's and germs
IMO, never to paranoid with the health and safety of LO!
I used the Moby pretty much all the time when DS was a newborn. It kept him nice and snug and able to sleep (even when we were out or had guests) and it also kept him from being a 'hot potato'
Also, even now nobody holds the baby without washing hands first.
