wait a minute...now I see why they released the pale colors

if you look at the pic of all 5 dipes together, you can see that bubble, noodle, and sweet are the BACKGROUND COLORS on the light blue, yellow, and red print dipes, respectively.

    You're right!  I don't know if I would have noticed that...they all look white at first.
